Early summertime in Hagaparken

We had a long, long winter this year, but now – finally – the snow is gone gone gone. What I love about springtime is that the light is back in our lifes and it makes me long for summer and the weddingseason! Marisol and Dennis got married on a beautiful early-summers-day in Ekotemplet, Hagaparken. We’ll soon have this season again, isn’t it wonderful?

Alexia’s little family

One of my favourite things to do is shooting (oops!) children and families. Yes, you do need a lot of patience and yes, you need to be able to crawl around on floors and grounds and extremely much yes, you must be fast! But wow, kids just makes me happy! Alexia (9 months) has a sweet little family: mother Lillan and father Alex and the beautiful dog Blanca. They all welcomed me with open arms and let me in to capture some moments of family-bliss.

Malin and Draken

It’s special to have the honour to share some of the most important moments and days in peoples lifes. As a wedding- and portaitphotograper I do so many times and everytime I feel grateful. When Malin (one of my former brides, I’ll show you some photos in another post) asked me to make some photos of her in her last days of her first pregnancy, I was so happy. To me a pregnant woman has an air of power and vulnerability around her which makes me humble to life.  Thank you Malin for letting me show these photos! (Draken is the nickname of the baby!)

Someone’s a BIG Chelsea-fan!

Las Vegas WPPI

So finally I went to Las Vegas to attend WPPI, an international convention for wedding- and portraitphotographers, together with my friend and colleague Erika Gerdemark. My biggest reason to go was to find new inspiration and by meeting some of the worlds best portraitphotographers, I most certainly did so. During this week I grew stronger in my believe in myself as a photographer passionate for people and feelings. Some of the classes left me with a bubbly feeling inside and some even made me cry. I’m so proud of beeing a photographer, someone who can stop time and save a moment to be cherished forever and ever.

Didn’t get to taste one. Unfortunately.
